Gerard d’Albouy, alias Ouy Gerard d’Albouy, alias Ouy, was a Parisian modiste renowned in the Parisian fashion circles. He cumulated several hobbies among which painting and collecting art and antiques. He collected art in the spirit of Andre Breton, finding astonishing or surrealist objects. He was also a weekend antique dealer, selling at the antiques market of Saint Ouen. His paintings, inspired by the impressionism school, show a master talent and continue gaining value over time.
